Despite rumors that the Gaffney Serial Murderer was gunned down by police in North Carolina last night, the Cherokee County Sheriff Department now says the reward for information on the case has grown to $34,500. The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office has upped the reward to $20,000 for information on the man wanted in five shooting deaths in Gaffney, South Carolina. In a statement released this morning, the department says there are no changes in the status of the case and the Sheriff will not be making any comments.
