Prior to joining FNC, Springer served as a general assignment reporter and fill in anchor at KTVU, San Francisco. Before that, he worked for KTTV, Los Angeles as a general assignment reporter. Springer began his career in journalism at WBKB-TV, Alpena, Michigan, where he was the sports director and host, producer and editor of a weekly sports special.

With the economy still shedding jobs and cities cutting people and services due to dwindling sales tax revenues, box stores are all of a sudden not looking too bad.
