Seven militants were killed Thursday by a suspected U.S. drone strike in Kyber agency.
The targets were members of Lashkar-i-Islami, the group responsible for looting Nato supply convoys destined for troops in Afghanistan.
We believe this is the first time the U.S. has targeted the group with drones and it is also the first time we have seen a drone attack so far north.
If so, this venturing into new territory comes after the U.S. recently tried to get the Pak gov’t to expand the areas over which it can fly drones, a tactic agreement both sides deny.
