Predator B: Weapon or Waste?

Midnight in the Arizona desert. The skies are black, scorpions scamper across the tarmac and Border Patrol agents warn us this is rattlesnake season. But the reason for our visit to Fort Huachuca isn't about natural history. It's about a different, but equally dangerous species that calls the Sonoran Desert home - the Customs and Border Protection Predator B. Early Predators earned respect ... read more

For years the U.S. government has funded the Lebanese army as a counterweight to the growing rise of Hezbollah, a group the U.S. State Dept. lists as a terror organization.  But Hezbollah has emerged as a major power center in Lebanon. Now members of Congress are questioning whether aiding the Lebanese army is the right move, when it's possible that the aid and weapons ... read more

Blago Jurors, Closer Than You Think

The cheering masses that greeted Rod Blagojevich on the street characterized the hung jury as a victory for the former Illinois governor, but they have no idea how close it was to going the other way. Blago Jury: Guilty on 1 Charge, Hung on 23

Shock in the courtroom today, as the verdict was read: "Guilty"...but only on one of the 24 counts against him.  After 14 days of deliberating, the jury agreed he was guilty of lying to the feds.  And that's all.  The jury is "hung" on the other 23, so the judge had to declare a mistrial on those 23 counts.  Lying to the feds can be punished with up to five years ... read more

‘What I Didn’t Learn In The Army’

Before career fairs, a lot of American Universities send emails out warning students that future employers will check their “Facebook” accounts for pictures which paints one in less than a flattering light...AKA most every picture taken in college. Clearly the Israeli Army either didn’t pass that warning along or Eden Aberjil didn’t head the advice. Despite ... read more

Fire / Gun Battle Outside TX Police Station

Update: We now know who the suspect is. McKinney police say he's 29-year old Patrick Gray Sharp. He has no criminal record. Sharp took classes at Collin College in 2004, but police say he had no grudge they can find against the school-- or against police for that matter. Officers at Sharp's home found a cache of weapons. Police say Sharp shot more than 100 rounds ... read more
