King of Pops Plays Joblessness Coolly

August 23, 2010 - 11:04 AM | by: Tom Jachman

On a noisy street corner in Atlanta, people are finding a new way to beat the sizzling summer heat.  And a simple treat like a popsicle is becoming an entirely new career for a young entrepreneur.   Steven Carse was an AIG employee who lost his job and then instead of joining the ranks of the unemployed he and his brother Nick started their own business. They call it King of Pops — simple but delicious popsicles:  made from scratch and all organic.  Atlantans are keeping Steven busy this summer.
