Should Spain Ban Bullfights?

The Parliament of Catalonia voted today to ban bullfights in the region, after an emotionally and politically-charged debate in Barcelona. The prohibition won handily, with 68 votes in favor, 55 against and 9 abstentions. Catalonia is the second region in Spain to ban bullfighting after the Canary Islands did so in 1991. New Leak Found on Gulf Coast

The Coast Guard is responding to a new oil leak on the Gulf Coast. This spill involves a well in a portion of Barataria Bay known as Mud Lake, near Bayou St. Dennis about 10 miles south of Lafitte, Louisiana.
