The Lindsay Lohan Circus

July 20, 2010 - 8:53 AM | by: Laura Prabucki

All eyes are on a Beverly Hills courthouse this morning as actress Lindsay Lohan is expected to turn herself in to begin serving a 90 day sentence. The 24-year old was sentenced back on July 6th for violating the terms of her DUI probation for not attending weekly alcohol education classes.

The former Disney star’s tearful promise to do better did not change the mind of Judge Marsha Revel, who handed down 3- 30 day sentences.
Once Lohan turns herself in, she’s expected to be carted off to the Lynwood Correctional facility, south of Los Angeles. It’s estimated that she will only serve about a quarter of her time, or three weeks, due to good behavior and overcrowding at the jail. Lohan will spend her time by herself in a 12×8 cell.

” The incarceration is going to be one of the most difficult times of her career,” says Dylan Howard, Senior Executive Editor with Radar online.

“Here’s someone who clearly is facing her personal demons and at the same time that she’s facing those, she’s going to be isolated from everyone who can help her.”

And once Lohan finishes her time behind bars, she will then have to spend 90 days in a drug rehabilitation center.
