You might think that multi-million dollar yachts are only for the mega rich– and for the most part you’d be right

But the other half of that reality is that it takes hundreds of “Average Joes” to build one yacht, hundreds of people who in turn, can feed their families from those wages.

At Lazzara Yachts in Tampa Florida, management says the last two quarters have been very busy, with several yachts on order.

So busy, that Lazzara is looking to create a third shift after the beginning of the new year and those jobs would pay up to $20 to start.

Lazzara says before you start bad-mouthing folks that can afford to buy these floating mansions, consider that building just one yacht takes all kinds of products from one thousand different vendors nationwide.

Sure, these yachts are excessive and not necessary, but the thousands of jobs they create are.
