Hasan Attorney Talks with Fox

November 11, 2009 - 10:57 AM | by: Maggie Kerkman

The suspect in the Ft. Hood shootings is awake and talking, but his attorney says he's not saying much. John Galligan, attorney for Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan, says his client is sedated as he recovers in a San Antonio hospital room. Galligan was only able to talk with Hasan briefly. No charges have been filed in the case, but Hasan's leave and pass privileges have officially been revoked. Galligan is worried that Hasan will not be able to get a fair trial here. He wants speculation on the the case to stop saying, "We need to stand back, put the brakes on before wildly commenting on a lot of things that we later find out aren't true."

The next press conference happens at 1pm EST.

I have to disagree, it is not the same God. The God of the Bible does not order Christians to “When you meet the unbelievers, strike off their heads; then when you have made wide slaughter among them, carefully tie up the remaining captives” (Sura 47-4 from the Koran). If it were the same God, the Bible and Koran (believed to be the inspired word of God by both religions) would be exactly same, and they are vastly different.

This guy Hasan is really not any different than Obama, they are both American born muslims who have sworn oaths and are living of American tax payers. Who knows what Obama is revealing to his muslim brothers about our weaknesses!!!!!.

As far as I am concerned, why is he in the hospital? Why are our American's trying to make him better? How is it he has the right for any of that? The minute he picked up guns and opened fire on our unarmed Soldiers with intent to KILL as many as he possibly could before someone stopped him......HE GAVE UP HIS RIGHTS IN AMERICA. HE MADE THAT DECISION NOT ANYONE ELSE. What a coward! How is it he was in our fine Army anyway?

It isn't like Hasan slipped off into the nearby woods and the cops captured somebody else by mistake and now they're saying "It wasn't me." He was dropped on the site by a hero police officer. He didn't get away. The evidence is overwhelming against him. Find out what he knows.....his contacts......and then shoot the bastard in a publicly televised execution. And, for good measure......soak the firing squad's ammo in pig's blood. And, tell the SOB as much right before the command to "fire".......that his heart is about to be pierced with a Porky projectile. Adios azzhole. I hope your virgins all have beards.

He freely joined the military, he took OATHS to protect our country and Constitution. He accepted lucrative career training. YET the first time he is called upon to deploy and actually serve-he commits this horrific act. He previously freely stated his loyalty was to Islam not the Constitution... THAT ALONE was a TREASONIST ACT. The fact that he also previously glorified suicide bombers should've had his butt in the brig. When he decided to go on base and shoot his brother soldiers it was BOTH an act of TERRORISM and TREASON. There are no excuses to be made. He is guilty and should receive CAPITAL PUNISHMENT for his acts. I don't know what the Military's preferred method is but for this piece of treasonous crap a rusty sword and decapitation certainly wouldn't be either cruel or unusual punishment.

Hey Norman, I want you to name 10 Jews who killed in the name of Allah. If you can`t name 10, name 1. If you can`t name one, you're a pretty bright guy. You must be a Muslim radical or or one of those old boy, down home ridgerunners.

His "religion" is not a religion, it is a system of hate, not love. He murdered 13 people and wounded many more, he is a terrorist. He turned against his country and his service, he is a traitor and a terrorist. For his crimes he should be tried and if guilty (not doubt that he is) he should be executed. If the Army is so politically correct and so worried about offending the muslims/terrorist, call me, I'll be glad to shoot the bastard!

Don't lose sight of the facts. We can talk about this guy all we want but there are more like him out there. most of the 9/11 hijackers lived here for years. Lets get on the people we put incharge to do something. I don't care if you didn't vote for them they are there and lets keep there feet to the fire. Thats the only option

Not all Muslims are terrorists...but all terrorists are Muslim. The religion should be criminal, it teaches hate and murder. Its a religion of violence against your fellow humans.

Hasan is a terrosist and our government knew it but we're afraid to offend the Muslin populace, so they opted out to put our soldiers in danger instead. And because of their ignorance this country is now burying the very soldiers who protect these government idiots. And speaking of you government idiots, our soldiers blood is on your heads.

Jim, Even the bible says "Eye for an Eye". That gives me the pious right to slowly burn his eyes out with a blow torch and slice his flesh because I know he must have shot at least one person in the eye and we know his bullets sliced flesh. eye for an eye brother. Amen and hallaluyah!!

I'm always hearing Muslims condemn "those killings" but I never hear them condemn jihadists, alqueda, imams, Osama, etc who teach killing of Americans.

There are no moderate muslims! Only muslims which are either laying in wait to kill societies which do not honor sharia law and disobiedient muslims whom are ignorant that they are targets for not upholding the islamic belief system to the standards of the koran and sharia law. When Americans really understand this things will change!
