Jump in Pediatric Deaths Reported
October 30, 2009 - 4:36 PM | by: Tom JachmanAt a CDC Press briefing Thomas Frieden, MD said this week there have been 19 pediatric deaths due to laboratory confirmed H1N1 . This is the largest weekly increase of reported pediatric deaths and it brings to 114 the number of children who have died. Two thirds of the pediatric deaths involved children with underlying medical conditions.
