Jackson Finally Laid to Rest

September 3, 2009 - 8:48 PM | by: Adam Housley

The guests began arriving just after 6pm and by seven, the time the ceremony was set to begin, most of the whte chairs outside the mausoleum had been filled with friends. Names like Barry Bonds, Chris Tucker, Gladys Knight, Macaulay Culkin, even Lisa Marie Presley had all come to pay their final respects. The family tho was again not on time. Like we saw with the massive ceremony at staples weeks ago and at other scheduled events along the way, the Jackson family hadn’t even left their Encino home by 7pm. Finally about 9 minutes after 8pm, a massive caravan of thirty cars arrived on site via police escort.
Throughout the afternoon, outside Forest Lawn in Glendale there is a line of media from all over the globe, stretching two blocks in either direction from the front gate. We are told about the service that will be partly held outside in front of the mausoleum. The white lawn chairs have already been set on the lawn and Gladys Knight will sing at the ceremony for Jackson. The family we are told will arrive in 5 stretch Rolls Royce Limo’s and then head to a dinner in Old Town Pasadena after the ceremony.
Michael will be interred in an area of the mausoleum that is off limits to the public. A guard stands outside a glass door and only permits family and guests invited by the family to visit. The 12 spots around the Jackson tomb have also been purchased as to keep michael in an area by himself. Also in the ‘Great Mausoleum, Clark gable, Jean Harlow, W.C. Fields and Red Skelton. These 22 hillside acres were founded as a last resting place back in 1906 and has been a popular place to put Hollywood ever since.
The jackson burial comes more than two months since his death an at this hour I am told by my sources the investigation into the death is still very active. Dr. Conrad Murray is still the focus, but other avenues are still under the microscope. Meantime I am told that there will be no arrests over the holiday weekend because Murray is still not a flight risk and the lead investigator is on vacation until Tuesday.
