Senator Urges Rapid Test of Lake Water

CHICAGO, IL. U.S. Senator Durbin (D-IL) is asking the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to expand a new rapid water quality monitoring program to Illinois and Lake Michigan.   Durbin's request came after a report that was released earlier this week by the National Resources Defense Council showing problems at some Illinois beaches. Coast Guard, British Navy Seize $55 Million in Cocaine, Off Coast of Venezuela
