Rumors and Reward Grow in S.C. Murder
July 6, 2009 - 5:10 PM | by: Brooks BlantonDespite rumors that the Gaffney Serial Murderer was gunned down by police in North Carolina last night, the Cherokee County Sheriff Department now says the reward for information on the case has grown to $34,500. A local businessman kicked in $10,000 in addition to private donations pouring into the reward fund. A 3 pm EDT statement from Cherokee County Sheriff Bill Blanton’s office says nothing has changed in the case.
