$20,000 Reward for Information on Serial Killer

July 6, 2009 - 9:45 AM | by: Brooks Blanton

The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office has upped the reward to $20,000 for information on the man wanted in five shooting deaths in Gaffney, South Carolina. In a statement released this morning, the department says there are no changes in the status of the case and the Sheriff will not be making any comments. Sheriff Bill Blanton has not been releasing much information saying he does not want to jeopardize any leads in the case. He did say that material evidence found at each scene links all the murders to one person. Anyone wishing to make a donation to increase the reward should contact Leigh Caldwell at the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office at 864-489-4722.
