It appears to me that this bottom-dweller wanted to get back into prison for some reason (I can only imagine) but the great sheriff’s dep’t and police put an end not only to his scheme but to him. Amen.

My brother in law is in law inforcement in SC told mee this guy had been convicted of armed bank robbery 20+ years ago in Gaffney and had just gotten out of prison for that crime about 3 month ago.

I have been following this episode along with a number of my buds.We are all sick to our stomachs.
As usual, here is a useless air breather that should have been locked up years ago. Don’t you just love our liberal laws anymore ? Califonia is a great state, but it is run by a gathering of bleading heart lib / dems and we have this sort of thing many times. I am proud of your police, and very happy that this s_ _ t bag is dead and done. My heart and my buds as well go out to the families. God Bless,

I live in Greenville, SC, and I’ve been following this story very closely. Members of my family were friends of the Tyler family and this is such a bitter tragedy. Greenville is not a small town, but Gaffney is midsized…if it were a smaller town, I’m sure they would’ve caught this sicko by now. Hopefully, the man they shot in NC is the perpetrator and this community will never be plagued with fear of his murderous ways again. Please keep all the families affected by these heinous crimes in your thoughts and prayers.

Incorrect population count in article for town of Gaffney, SC. More like 12,000 people, not 54,000! Which makes it even scarier.
