Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Daytona
June 30, 2009 - 4:01 PM | by: Serafin GomezMiami, Fl- A Spirit Airlines flight made an emergency landing at Daytona beach International Airport after smoke was detected in the cabin,and cockpit. The smoke was first d noticed by a flight attendant in the cabin of the Airbus plane. Three passengers are in the hospital after suffering smoke inhalation but are in stable condition, according to fire and rescue officials. Flight 433, originally scheduled from Chicago to Ft. Lauderdale, was carrying 128 people. Airline officials tell Fox that they are flying in another airplane to take the remaining passengers to Ft Lauderdale from Daytona Beach.
