My personal opinion is: If his wife and kids can’t trust him 100% then the country certainly cannot believe a word he says. I suggest he step down. I mean when does anything mean something. All Americans want to do is overlook everything. We need honest, moral men and women running our country so God will bless America otherwise we are doomed….

independent, “is not going to work”, News for you slick, IT IS WORKING. Watch the news. The right put the US in a deep hole by electing one of the worse administrations ever, twice, but luckily most of the voters woke up (obviously not you). Let’s hope it wasn’t too late.

The US puts more people in prison than any other country. We’ve been a right wing police state long enough. We could use a bit of left-ward drift, not into socialism, but away from fascism.

The Gov. should step down. He left the country and did not tell any other Officer’s of the State of S.Car. where he was. IF there had been a State Emergency he would not have been able to be reached.
He left no telephone contact number. That is a No No. Resign now Gov.

The guy had an affair. It happens in both parties, all the time. I am tired of the country getting mired in this tabloid drivel when there are larger issues at hand. The president is currently spending at a record pace and congress is being pressures into caving to his every demand. This needs to stop. Throwing more and more taxpayer dollars at the economic situation is not going to work. Additonally, write your representatives to stop the left-ward drift into to socialism. If you don’t see it happening, you are blind.

guys, hes not in love with his wife, and if you read emails between them u can see that he is poetic in his writting, he genuinely loves this maria bellen chapur chick, plus she is hawtttt. Shes a latin beauty and shes educated, knows 3 different languages and shes a reporter, banging body cute face, this guy just made a mistake, love destroys all beautifully. he is wrong for taking stabs at bill tho, but i guess he had to since no republican would defend a democrat in this situation anyway, he would be out of his mind to do so

It is extremely hard for people to refer to “horny democrats” as hypocritical if they have no principles to stand on isn’t it? At least he (Sanford) can be called a hypocrite and I’m sure he’d be the first to admit it. What do you call an person that has no morals?

Interesting that democrats are quick to blame him and were quick to defend Bill Clinton… Double standard for the democrats. Regardless the issue is not that he cheated as much as whether he tried to cover it up…remember Clintons statement: ” I did not have sexual relations with her”….and because BILL purjured himself UNDER OATH he was IMPEACHED. And should have stepped down.

NOONE is immune from cheating. Dem or Rep. and ALL of them should STEP down with this CRAZY spending SPLURGE right now… Auto, Banks, Insurance, Cigarettes, and Now a Tax on the gas taxes… UGH…

Being a good steward and Taxing a need are TWO ENTIRELY Different things…
