Summer is almost here, and for many families that means SUMMER VACATION!!! ahhh …

However this year financial woes are changing some of those plans to a more economical holiday. For some, it’s time to dust off that camping gear, and head out to the great outdoors while others are looking for that first time investment of camping supplies.

Reporter Carina Sonn, Producer Jim Murphy, Sound Tech Humberto Huizar and I headed out to Devils Lake State Park Wisconsin to get a feel for price camping gear, and to see if some folks opted out of the hotel to stay in a tent for the night. And yes … we camped too!
